- Kurt Vinion is an international award winning photographer who trained at the University of Western Kentucky before becoming director of photography at the University of Louisville. After moving to Europe to cover the former Soviet Republics. Vinion won awards from the NPPA's Best of Photojournalism in 2002 and 2003, after which he went to work with Getty Images shooting portraits and celebrities in Berlin. During this work, Vinion realized he could combine his reportage style with what he had learned from portraiture and in 2005 started photographing weddings. That formula has proved incredibly successful. Vinion is now the most sought-after wedding photographer in Prague, working with clientele from United States, Russia, Israel, Germany, Ireland, the US and the Czech Republic.
