Accommodation
We offer two types of accommodation for students at the Prague Workshop, dorm rooms in a university dorm or Hotel rooms, both at discount rates. Your spouse or partner is welcome; however, if you plan to attend the workshops with your family, you may wish to stay elsewhere. There are plenty of affordable tourist apartments for rent in Prague, and we'd be happy to help you find one.
Dorm Rooms $40 per night with Breakfast
The dorm rooms are basic but comfortable: two beds per room (single or double occupancy), sheets, towels, and a sink. Toilets and showers are at the end of the hall. There is a concierge at the entrance, and Internet is available in the computer room on the ground floor.
The dorm is in Devijce about 100 meters from the Devijce metro stop. The metro will get you downtown in about seven minutes. Trams also service the dorm. Though they are not as fast as the metro, the trams run all night long.
Hotel Rott
The Hotel Rott is located on Male Namesti, just 25 meters from our classroom at New York University. It is a four-star hotel with included breakfast, maid service and free Internet. Each room has its own toilet and bath. There are safes in the room for your valuables, and reception in the lobby is staffed 24 hours a day.
The Bar and Restaurant are open from breakfast through late night. We have arranged discount rates for Prague Workshop attendees with the hotel, and we will be happy to book a room for you to secure these rates. Send us an email for more information.
When you register for your workshop, please indicate your choice of accommodation. Prague Workshops can take care of any dorm reservations. We will initiate your hotel reservation and have the Hotel Rott get in touch with you to reconfirm.
